SATURDAY 4th FEBRUARY:-

RIVER TRAINING SHOULD BE ON AS USUAL, WITH BACON BUTTIES!
4th to 6th years 08.30 prompt to 10.30am
1st to 3rd years 10.30am to 12 noon latest
it is very cold, and snow is forecast for lunchtime
please bring lots of warm layers of clothing, especially 1st years,
who will not be allowed on the water unless they are adequately dressed!

NEXT BGSBC SOCIAL EVENT:-

THE ANNUAL FAMILY GAMES AND QUIZ NIGHT
WILL BE ON SATURDAY 25TH FEBRUARY, IN THE SCHOOL DINING ROOM
7pm to 10.30pm, tickets 6 pounds per adult, 5 pounds per pupil, 20 pounds per family ticket
includes hot meal (including vege option) and pudding; bar, raffle, tuck shop, available.
It would help catering if you could order/buy tickets in advance.
Tickets: order via the website contacts page, or available at Reception,
Saturday river training sessions, or Boat Club members. See flier.

In the coming term, if conditions are not safe for river training,
the staff will endeavor to put on a gym training session at school on Saturdays;
look at the rowing noticeboard in school, and check the website!

they have sourced a new supplier (Godfreys)
for our short sleeved white racing top, long sleeved black top, shorts, and All in Ones
details will be available soon about how to order online

we also now have an optional navy waterproof fleece available from Rock The Boat
with school logo, which replaces the splash jacket, costing Ł50

Please can rowers bring warm clothes and a towel to all sessions, just incase they capsize!
