The majority of our
water based
training is undertaken on the River Aire at the Boathouse by
Hirst Weir. If you are lucky you can also go on runs from there.... The coach to the river on Wednesday
afternoons leaves the turning circle at 13:00 prompt -
don't get left behind!
Saturday river training takes place in term time from 8.30am to 10.30am for 4th to 6th form and from 10.30am to 12 noon for 1st to 3rd form
The Training album in the Photo Gallery will give a
good idea of our short but picturesque stretch of river.
Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel to each training
session - just in case!
Other
training is organised at school, making use of the Gyms and
Swimming Pool (for capsize drill etc). See Training Diary below.
How to
get there: go to the 'About' tab

Monday 4pm to 5pm
Thursday 4pm to 5pm, or 6pm if required
Friday 4.30pm to 5.30pm
In
addition, year groups are free to arrange their own gym training
at lunchtimes. Please talk to Josh or the Rowing Staff if you need
advice about how much training you should be doing.
